Background to the Trust

Emma Cameron Memorial Trust (SCIO).

The Emma Cameron Memorial Trust was set up in memory of Emma, who died as a result of a road traffic accident in Aberdeenshire on the 9th August 2013 at the age of only 27.

Emma's enthusiasm and positive outlook still shines through in everything she did. To keep her energy and spirit alive, the memorial trust was set up in Emma's name. All donations will help to fund charitable works which will be relevant to Emma's interests.

Organisations funded include Common Wheel, Nordoff Robbins Scotland, Drake Music Scotland, Live Music Now, and The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.

Funds already raised have provided music therapy to children in schools in Renfrewshire, interactive concerts for children and young people in Aberdeenshire and North Ayrshire and people with dementia in Glasgow care homes. The trust has also funded 'A Playlist for Life' for a Glasgow Hospice.

Please contact Margery Cameron at EmmaCameronMemorialTrust@gmail.com if you would like to make a donation, or organise a fundraising event.
